Exciting upcoming events on behalf of St. Bernard Project!


A forum on "Rebuilding Communities" will take place March 6 at The Evergreen State College

Four Evergreen State College students are busy raising funds, recruiting volunteers, and raising community awareness about the continued need for assistance in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana, since Hurricane Katrina flooded the entire county more than three years ago. We are working on behalf of an amazing non-profit, St. Bernard Project (http://www.stbernardproject.org/). Here's what we're working on:

March Events With Co-Founders Liz McCartney and Zack Rosenburg
Liz McCartney (CNN Hero of the Year) and Zack Rosenburg, the co-founders of St. Bernard Project, will be in Olympia, Washington, in March 2009! To date, we have two events planned during their visit:
  1. Dinner Auction fundraiser for St. Bernard Project - March 7, 2009 (see detailed information above)
  2. Evergreen State College discussion on "Rebuilding Communities" - March 6, 2009 from 1:00-3:30 in Lecture Hall 3.

Community outreach events are ongoing in the Olympia area. Here are some recently completed outreach events:
